Snarty Pity

Recipe File

I like to cook but not the “what’s for dinner” kind of cooking! I have tried many things over the years to make cooking and the food that results from the cooking appealing to my three kids. My DH will eat anything so that is easy. But the kids were a different story. I was into once a month cooking which was an amazing gift to ME, but alas, the kids did not like casserole type food so often. Then I did nothing but vegetarian cooking. Better food costs, but not much variety in the kids likes and dislikes. Now we are down to one kiddo left and I can see a light at the end of the tunnel!

This is why I love giving tea. It is a smackeral of different things that are quick to put together and generally consumed in one seating. I have an open mind when it comes to tea parties. I want to do a Redneck Tea with mason jars as candle holders, a Valvoline oil container for the centerpiece flowers and homespun napkins and placemats. Or a Salvadore Dali tea called An InsaniTEA with melting looking foods and prints of Dali as name cards. Oh the possibilities are endless!
